A small village with a big heart
Valley Village really isn’t a village, but it does have a small neighborhood feel. Bordered by Studio City to the south and Sherman Oaks to the west, Valley Village is a great option for residents that want the vibrancy of Ventura Boulevard but wish to remain a little further from the action. The neighborhood has a distinct family-friendly feel with homes that offer a more affordable option than its Studio City neighbor.

Valley Village History
In the mid - 1980s a group of homeowners sought permission from the City of Los Angeles to change their neighborhood’s designation to Valley Village, reclaiming a name that had been established in 1939. The City Council approved the name change in 1991 and this small village with a big heart has been prospering ever since.
